Academy Award winning actor Sir Sir Mark Rylance has been announced as a patron of East Riding Theatre, joining Dame Dame Judi Dench in supporting the Yorkshire playhouse.

Sue Kirkman, ERT's Theatre Manager commented 'It's really exciting for us... One of the things that he really engaged with is our work in the community theatre, which was something that he was really keen to put his own stamp on. To get his endorsement is huge for us'.
